First, I would like to thank those who placed an order during the Wright County Fair and took advantage of my Fair Special! The fair ended Sunday evening and yesterday was clean up and reorganize day here at The Roost. I got so much done! Today, on the other hand, has been catch up on sleep day, lol.
This is my last card for the DOstamperSTARS July Celebrate Watercolor Challenge. The Challenge was to share 10 cards during the month, 8 of which had to use a watercolor technique. This card uses Detailed Watercoloring using Watercolor Pencils. I have created two cards using this technique, with slight variations. The card above with an extra layer and straight placement and the card below with a kitty wampus placement. Which do you prefer?
Both images were stamped using the Stamparatus and Stazon Ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Watch my Detailed Watercoloring Video to see how to loosely add color with the pencils and then spread the color with a Water Painter Brush.

Both cards use the same pencil colors. Stampin’ Up! offers two sets of Watercolor Pencils and this card uses colors from both sets. The colors with an * after them were used on these cards.

Both cards use the Seashell Embossing Folder but have two different embellishments added, Faux Sea Glass on one and Basic Pearl Jewels on the other.
