Bamboo Beauty Caring Thoughts

For today’s Bamboo Beauty card, I’ve combined the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper and done a little distressing on the edges of the focal image.

The Texture Chic DSP combines beautifully with the Bamboo images. Any of the paper designs would work but I chose to use the side without any gold foil accents for this card. The bamboo shoots are stamped in Soft Succulent ink and the other images are all done with Evening Evergreen ink. The edges of the stamped layer have been distressed.

A strip of the same Texture Chic paper is added on the inside with the same ink colors as on the front. Some leaves on the envelope also add a nice touch.

TIP: If you don’t have a distressing tool, an open scissor can be pulled along the edge of the cardstock to distress the edges.
