Today’s card again features the Seaside Bay stamp set and another CASE from the upcoming January to April Mini Catalog. This was actually done as a tag in the catalog sample but I’ve changed it into a card for this project.

I wanted to see how the Sun Prints Designer Paper would coordinate with the Seaside Bay set and I think they work great together. The pretty oyster shell die cut, which opens and closes (YAY) is done on Pearlized Specialty Paper and a sponge dauber was used to add some Soft Suede ink to the die before cutting. Most of the ink transferred to the paper when cutting and I simply wiped out the remaining ink with my stamp shammy. The other shells are all stamped and die cut from the same Pearlized paper. The Pearlized paper reminds me of wet seashells and is perfect for this stamp set. The grasses are die cuts from the By the Bay Designer Series Paper.

The tag is 2″ x 4 1/4″ and has been distressed with a distressing tool. If you don’t have one run an open scissor along the edge to scuff up the fibers. The tag is tipped slightly, this way it can never be crooked, lol.

Join a Creative Cards Class in the Mail Club
