It’s time for the #DOswts406 Sketch Challenge! When I saw the sketch I thought of a stamp set that I haven’t used in a long time, the Painted Poppies and sister set the Peaceful Moments.

It wasn’t going to be a sympathy card to begin with but as the card came together it seemed to want the sympathy greeting. The patterned paper is from the Hello Irresistible designer paper pack and has been embossed with a dots embossing folder from the Basic Embossing Folders pack.

The poppy starts with a Tuxedo Black ink outline on Pale Papaya paper, then is filled in with Mango Melody ink using both the large fill in stamp and the little splatter stamp from the Painted Poppies set. The leaves are done in Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam papers with the stamped leaves done in Soft Succulent ink. Some of the die cuts are done with the Painted Labels Dies set and others are from the Poppy Moments Die set. The Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon bow was added to follow the sketch.
