The theme for today’s card is warm and beachy, using the Paradise Palms stamp set. It’s a simple card without any fancy folds or hard to learn coloring techniques. Okay, I will admit that I did use two ink colors on the sun. First I inked the stamp with daffodil delight and then I rolled the edges in Flirty Flamingo (which I actually thought I had picked up the Calypso Coral). Oh well, I guess the sun was a bit hotter this day.

The tree trunks are stamped with Sahara Sand ink, the leaves Garden Green and the coconuts Early Espresso with the greeting done in Early Espresso too.
The base is a piece of Basic White Thick cardstock that is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The front is covered with a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the Fancy Flora designer series paper. I like to use liquid glue to adhere the DSP to the front because it gives a little bit of wiggle room if the paper goes down crooked the first time.

To set off the white layer (3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″) from the Fancy Flora layer an Early Espresso matte was added that is 3 5/8″ x4 7/8″.
A little left over strip of the Fancy Flora DSP was added to the bottom of the inside of the card as well.
Here’s to hoping that no matter what the weather is outside where you are, your mood is warm and beachy on the inside! The Paradise Palms stamp set is a perfect mood lifter! Click on the link below to get your own set. There is also a matching die available.
