Today I’ve got two cards for you because I’ve used the Bunny Punch and made one card with the punch out and another with the negative space.

The first card uses the punched out bunny which was done from a 3″ square of the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper. He is popped up with dimensionals and has been given a Matte Black dot eye.

The greeting is stamped with Starry Sky ink on a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock with a Starry Sky matte layer. Both are die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. A line of Faux Sea Glass gems ground the bunny with a White Seam Binding ribbon knotted beneath. The dark blue layer with the little triangle is from the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper Pack. A Balmy Blue matte layer is next, on top of the Basic White Thick card base.

Some 1/4″ strips of the Butterfly Kisses DSP outline the top and bottom of the inside. A greeting from the A Grand Kid stamp set, inked with Starry Sky ink completes the inside. An additional greeting and bunny are stamped with the Starry Sky ink on the envelope.

The second card uses the remaining 3″ square with the punched out bunny space in the center. First a 3″ Basic White square was adhered behind the Country Gingham layer. Next, liquid glue was layered thinly inside the bunny area and a cotton ball was pulled apart and pressed into the glue. Faceted Gems were added for the nose and eye.

A banner was added across the corner with the Easter greeting done in Starry Sky ink to match the 3 1/4″ square matte layer. To get the angles right the greeting was center on a 1/2″ x 4″ strip of white cardstock then adhered to the image layer. After being adhered the piece was flipped over and the banner was snipped off to line up with the Starry Sky matte layer.

The next layer under this was created using scrap strips of the Butterfly Kisses DSP layered onto a piece of printer paper cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″. The strips were either 3/4″ or 1″ x 4″. This was layered onto a Parakeet Party card base.

The inside has additional strips of the Butterfly Kisses paper with a greeting done in Starry Sky ink. The envelop flap is also covered in some of the Butterfly Kisses DSP.
