Twins!

This past weekend I attended a baby shower for my niece who is having twins. It was so cute the way they had a baseball theme, as in the Minnesota Twins! The food was ball park hot dogs and peanuts with lots of baseball decorations. Super cute! Her invitations had zoo animals on it and I remembered a really cute giraffe stamp I had, but of course I couldn’t remember the name of the set, grrr… I have my stamps in alphabetical order so they are easy to find IF you can remember the stamp set name. After 30 minutes of searching I finally found the Animal Outing set.

I stamped, colored and die cut two giraffes and mounted them so that they are sticking their heads out of the greeting. I pulled out an old favorite set for the greeting, Sassy Salutations. It’s the first time that I’ve used a piece of the Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper. I chose the Lost Lagoon color with a Lemon Lolly card base. The mother-to-be has chosen to not find out the sex of the babies (she’s a sonographer so I thought for sure she would find out!) so I chose green and yellow colors.

For the inside of the card, I pulled out another old favorite, the Tag Time set. It has an umbrella with a shower greeting and I pull this one out often.

A piece of the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper lines the inside for a nice festive look. The little babies had words under them so I masked the words when inking then removed the tape so that only the baby image would stamp.

I’m so excited for her! Hope you enjoyed the card and have a wonderful day.
