Today’s card is another version of the Circle Sayings Card that I shared yesterday. I was designing cards for my Creative Card Class and with the weather finally turning I wanted them to be Fall Themed.
The 2 3/8″ Circle Punch, which is part of the Circle Sayings Bundle is used to punch a window int he card front. Then it is used again together with the 3″ die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to make a frame to place around the window.
TIP: When using 6″ x 6″ DSP for a card of this design, first cut it to 5 1/2″ for the height and then cut it in half (3″). This will give you pieces for 2 cards plus a strip to use to decorate the inside.
I’ve actually placed a second frame on the inside of this card, just a little extra touch, not actually necessary, lol. The image on the inside is stamped with the card front closed, BEFORE adding the frame, through the window to get the correct placement.
Another little extra touch is adding some white color with a Watercolor Pencil to the foam on the wave.
