Swap Card Friday

It’s a gloomy morning here at the Roost and we’re hoping that it actually turns into a rainy day. My husband planted some grass seed in a new hay field and it sure would be nice if grows!

Today, I thought I would share some fun Halloween cards made with the Bag of Bones Bundle.

Patrizia’s card uses a piece of the wonderfully fun glow in the dark paper for this Romeo’s crypt. The Bag of Bones stamp set includes all kinds of fun accessories like the heart, rose, scarf and hat (even a cowboy hat and boots!). The coordinating Them Bones Designer Series paper has 12 wonderful spooky or seasonal patterns to choose from, Patrizia has used two of them here.

Note the Two Different ways to use this suite: Patrizia has stamped her skeleton while Jolene has die cut her’s from the Them Bones DSP.

Jolene’s card is created with the Bag of Bones Dies and the Tricks or Treats Dies. This background isn’t designer paper but is created with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber and Misty Moonlight ink. The gems are from the Adhesive Backed Specked Dots pack and are really cool in person but just don’t seem to photograph well. I totally overlooked these in the catalog!

For those of you, like ME, who love Halloween I hope that you are inspired by these two fun cards. If you don’t love Halloween, I hope that some element of these great cards inspires you. Use the layout, the making technique or some element to create your next card.

Thanks for stopping by at the roost! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
