Today’s card was made for a friend whose son was injured in a motorcycle accident. Please say a prayer for his recovery and remember to wear a helmet and SLOW down. Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly. When I think of all the crazy things I did in my youth, I think I had a very fast guardian angel, lol.

Because I’m working on a fall themed challenge for the DOstamperSTARS demonstrator group this month, I’ve chosen some colors that made me think of fall, the Blackberry Bliss card base and Pretty Peacock ink. I just had to use the new online exclusive designer paper from the Delightful Florals DSP pack. I know that Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Pecan Pie are probably more common colors for fall cards but I wanted something a bit different and I REALLY, REALLY wanted to use the new Delightful Florals DSP!

• Blackberry Bliss base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• Delightful Florals DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Blackberry Bliss strip 1/2″ x 4″
• Blackberry Bliss matte 3″ x 4 1/2″
• Basic White 2 3/4″ x 4″
• Basic White inner liner 3 3/4″ x 5″

I did end up using 3 different stamp sets. Translucent Florals for the flower and leaves, In the Moment for the front greeting, and Crafting with You for the inside greeting. I finished the card off with a Linen Thread bow attached with a glue dot and 3 gray embellishments from the Classic Matte Dots.
