Swinging and Swaying Skeletons

I’m so excited to share with you a new technique that I learned! I saw this on a card done by Susan Campfield with the Autumn Leaves Bundle and I just HAD to do one with the Bag of Bones Skeletons.

I’ve used some masking on this greeting to switch out the word friend and make it grandson. The grandson word (actually words son and grandpa) came from a past Paper Pumpkin kit. You can see how to ‘Frankenstein’ a greeting on my video tutorial.

The swinging mechanism is a simple 1/2″ x 2″ strip with a 3/8″ hole punched in the end and then it is hung on a Mini Dimensional.

The greeting is also popped up with mini dimensionals and covers the mechanism.

This allows the skeleton to swing freely back and forth.

The inside is decorated with more images and a greeting from the Bag of Bones stamp set. If you are a visual learner, be sure to watch my Swing and Sway Technique Tutorial.

  1. I like the card. I saw someone tonight from stamp class, I can’t think of her name. Jan comes to mind, but not sure. Anyway, she said you’re having class on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Send me a text, I never got the email
