Night Divine

Today’s card uses the stunning Night Divine Dies for the focal point of this religious themed Christmas card.

We did this card at my Creative Cards Class and it was a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from a card made by Terri Gaines, that I received in a card swap. Below is Terri’s card.

I wanted to show you ways to make a CASE card work when you don’t have the same products. I didn’t have the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper so I substituted some retired paper that I had, named Brightly Gleaming. I also didn’t have the pretty ribbon so substituted the Misty Moonlight Inner Braid Ribbon.

The DSP strip on was adhered to the white matte first and then both were run through the embossing folder. This is called Embedded Embossing. I used one of the Basics 3D folders, Terri used the Painted Textures Embossing Folder. The labels are cut with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then the one end is snipped off. The nativity scene is adhered a 3″ square of the DSP and then die cut with a Deckled Circles Die. Both the main image and the greeting are popped up with dimensionals.

The Last Chance Sale started today so the retiring products will go fast. I noticed that the O Holy Night DSP was already gone when I wrote this. The Night Divine stamps and dies were still available. I’ve included a downloadable link for the sale list at the end of this post.
