Today’s card is a Florida inspired birthday card using the free SALE-A-BRATION Jungle Pals stamp set and dies combined with the Zany Zoo stamp set. The Jungle Pals stamp set can be earned with a $50 purchase and the matching Jungle Pals Dies can be earned with a $100 purchase during SALE-A-BRATION.
This layout is CASE’d from page 10 of the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. I’ve used a different stamp set, different embellishments and different colors to create an entirely different look.
Can you see where my inspiration came from?
The alligator is colored by first lining the inside of the alligator with a Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Marker. Then it’s filled in with the Light Old Olive Marker, blending the colors together. The claws and spines are colored in with the dark marker.
Before embossing the Old Olive layer, with one of the Basic 3D embossing folders, some confetti, from the Zany Zoo stamp set, was stamped on opposite corners with Old Olive ink. The Basic White layer is die cut with the Nested Essentials Die and then the ends are cut so that the layer is about 3 3/4″. The entire Old Olive layer is popped up with dimensionals.
The inside of the card has another alligator from the Zany Zoo stamp set with a birthday greeting.
