Today I’ve got a quick card for you created with the Cutest Cows stamp set. This cute greeting is great to start off a quick note to reconnect with a friend. If you aren’t a critter card lover, remember to take note of the layout and color scheme to use with your favorite type of images. (Yes, Brenda, I’m thinking of you)
The card starts with a standard 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Balmy Blue cardstock scored at 4 1/4″. The pretty white flowers are from the Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Pack and is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The cows are nested on a 1 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla and they are colored with the Natural Stampin’ Blends. Nervous about using Stampin’ Blend Markers? These cows were colored with no shading, simply fill in each area with a single color, of course if you love to blend, go crazy and create a master piece. They are mounted on a 2″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock.
The greeting is stamped on a 1″ x 1 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla and popped up with dimensionals onto a 1 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ piece of Pecan Pie. A 4″ piece of Parakeet Party Baker’s Twine is tucked in-between the layers and a single Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gem is placed where the twine crosses. To keep the twine in place a glue dot is added under the twine.
The inside has a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Very Vanilla with a 3/4″ x 5″ strip of the Lighter Than Air DSP on the edge.
