I hope that you had a safe and fun New Year’s Eve! Mine was spent on the couch watching old TV reruns. Today I’m settling back into our Florida home. Do you find that you have to move things around and sort of twitch things into place to settle in? I couldn’t find my list of stamping items that I left here last year (I did make a list!) so now I have doubles of lots of things.
Today we’ve got a look at the past. These cards are from the December Cards in the Mail Club.

The theme for the December Card Club was the Nests of Winter Suite. I was happy to see that this set isn’t retiring just yet and will be available for a while. All of the cards were winter themed but not Christmas, although with a change of greeting they could have been Christmas.

I did pull in some retired foils for this month, and used the Peaceful Season Dies. The embossed layer was distressed by swiping a white ink pad lightly over the ridges.

I always like to add in some type of fun fold each month. This is a simple Z Fold.

Most of the birds were fussy cut from the Nests of Winter DSP. No fancy coloring necessary!

Each packet contains kits for 8 cards, 2 each of 4 designs with a half pack of designer paper. I don’t cut the DSP layers, this gives you the option to choose the design that YOU want. I do die cut any of the layers that aren’t stamped. The kit includes detailed instructions, envelopes, a full pack of embellishments and either ribbon or another item. The stamp set and dies can be added on but are not included. The cost is $45 and does include shipping.
The January Kit will be Valentine Themed and uses a new Bee themed paper. There are two stamp sets with the bees, one has a punch bundle and is in the current annual catalog, the other is in the new Scrapbooking Online Brochure (January 7) and has a die bundle. More information to come. Email me to reserve your kit! rrasset@frontier.com Please place your order ASAP and I can get the paper ordered right away on the 7th.
