It’s SALE-A-BRATION Time!

Once a year Stampin’ Up! holds Sale-a-bration. There is a special catalog with stamp sets, ribbons, papers, and embellishments that are free with purchase. There are two levels, some items can be earned with a $60 purchase and others with a $120 purchase.

These cards were created using 2 of the Free Sale-a-bration (SAB) products. The Documenting the Day stamp set, which is great for scrapbooking with the large text, and the fun Fruit Salad Designer Paper.

The other AWESOME thing that happens during SAB is the STARTER KIT SPECIAL. This year there are 2 optional additions to the kit which is $99 for $125 of product plus free shipping. Option 1 includes a a special stamp set and your choice of 2 Stampin’ Write Marker sets. Option 2 is an additional $30 in product. Either option is a great deal!

This card is super easy to make! Paper Dimensions:

  • Daffodil Delight Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Early Espresso matte 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Fruit Salad DSP 2 pieces 5″ x 1″
  • Basic White 5″ x 1 3/4″
  • Basic White 2 3/4″ x 1″

The ‘one fine’ greeting is fussy cut on the bottom so that the bottom of the f hangs over the white layer. The corners were snipped off with a scissors.

I did use a stamp positioner (Stamparatus) to get the ink on the word DAY really dark. Although the Stamparatu is retired there are others still on the market.

Check out all the new arrivals here!
