Grassy Grove Birthday Card

Happy Monday! We are starting our trip back to Minnesota today! Unlike most years, we plan on taking a leisurely trip back, stopping to see some sites and do some visiting. I’m sad to leave all my friends here in Saddlebag Lake Resort, but looking forward to seeing my family and friends back in Minnesota.

Today I’ve got a card inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. I chose the Grassy Grove stamps and dies to create a masculine birthday card.

This is a fun sketch! There are so many ways that a card could be built from this layout. I wanted to play. with my Grassy Grove Dies so I pulled them out and decided to set Bambi in the sun and the mother deer coaxing him into the shadowed woods.

I chose a side fold card base that is 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.

Have a wonderful and hopefully I will be able to continue posting while on the road.
