It’s a special Saturday post for the STARS Inspiration Hop. As I was trying to decide which stamp set to use with this sketch, my feet were being warmed by Max, my Beagle and this seemed like a fitting image to use for a card.

I tried to color the pup to match Maxi’s colors. He did have a coat at one time but like me, he outgrew it, lol. Now that we go to Florida for the winter he does without.

If you read my blog yesterday you might recognize the designer papers used on this card. The Peaceful Garden Designer Paper and Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper combine with Basic White and Basic White Thick papers for this card. My pup is colored with Basic Black, Pecan Pie, and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend Markers. To match Maxi’s colors the nose and paws are left white.

For the inside of the card a frame was die cut with the Perennial Postage Dies.
