North Pole Delivery Fun Fold

As promised on my Facebook live last Thursday, here is an up close view of the Bendi card.

This fun fold technique is super cute. It does have some extra layers with some scoring but if you aren’t math challenged (like me) it isn’t hard once you get the measurements right.

The card lays flat to insert in an envelope (not folded). Then to open the back pops out backwards and the center pops out forwards.

This photo shows how all the layers work together to stand up.

Here are the paper dimensions:

  • Base 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ Scored at 2 3/4″
    • Pattern Paper to layer on base 2 pieces 2 1/2″ x 4″
  • Second Base lawyer 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ Scored at 1/4″, 2 1/4″ and 4 1/4″
    • Patterned Paper to layer 2 pieces 1 3/4″ x 3″
  • Strip for bottom 6 1/2″ x 1″ Scored at 1/2″ and 6″
    • Patterned Paper to layer 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
  • White for back 2 pieces 2 1/2″ x 4″
  • Greeting 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
  • Swing Mechanism for focal image 3 1/2″ x 3/4″ Score at 3/4″ 1 1/4″, 2 1/4″ & 2 3/4″
