Looking Good

Today’s card uses the Capturing Smiles Bundle with a couple of fun new designer papers.

The old-fashioned bicycle paper is from the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper, while the top paper is from the Luxe White Specialty pack. I’ve stamped the camera using VersaMark ink and embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder to match the color of the bicycles. The camera is popped up with dimensionals. The card is done in a side fold orientation.

Inside is a filmstrip with a little reminder of some fun things. The strip was glued on with liquid glue, then the images were stamped inside the frames.

I also have to share some fun things that I did this past weekend. We took our camper and went up to the North Shore.

I really thought that there would be more water coming over Gooseberry Falls, but I guess it’s a sign that things are very dry. There was a fire along Highway 61 that required a detour. A small inconvenience for us, but sadly several people have lost their homes.

Here’s my crew! Husband Gary, grandson Wyatt, son Ethan and his girlfriend Tram. At this point in our hike I opted for the bench with the lovely view of Lake Superior while they continued on the hike.

There was quite a bit of rock climbing involved too, but not so much by me, lol. I did enjoy watching the kids though.
