Happy First of July! Wow, my summer is going by fast! Do you have big plans for the holiday weekend? We’re planning a weekend at our cabin on Lake Washington with the kids and some friends. Now if the weather just cooperates.

For today’s card, I’ve chosen the Words & Wishes Bundle from the May to August Catalog. This set is an awesome celebration set with large word dies and tons of greeting stamps.

By partially die cutting an opening in the front panel of the card, a flap to hide a little surprise was formed. Be sure to watch my Words & Wishes Peek-a-boo Wedding Card Video Tutorial for tips on creating this card.

All of the stamping was done with VersaMark ink and was heat embossed.

• Basic Black 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Basic Black 2″ x 2″ for die cut cake

• Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″ for inside liner
• Basic White for Die cutting words & leaves
