After purchasing the Shinning Star Dies at the beginning of the month, I finally sat down to play with it this morning. That’s when I found that I was having on of THOSE days. Nothing looked good. The creative spark wasn’t sparking. So I decided to take down my Halloween decorations and do some cleaning. I came back to my stamp room in the afternoon and came up with this card.

It starts with a Pretty Peacock base. Next. is a piece of the Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper. With every purchase of this paper Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to an organization that spreads holiday cheer. After that comes a Smoky Slate Layer with a Star Die Cut. The top layer is Blueberry Bushel with a larger Star Die Cut. The top layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″ with each layer under it being 1/8″ to 1/4″ smaller.

The die cut trees are from the Christmas Crew Dies and the white snow and snowflakes were made using the White Gel Pen.

The Merry Christmas Foil Greeting was created with the Reverse Hot Foil Die and the Magical Christmas Hot Foil Dies.

For the inside I die cut a large star and added a greeting.

The weather is gloomy and wet here today, maybe that’s why my creative spark is sputtering, lol. I hope that yours is working better than mine.
