Yahoo!! I can see blue skies! Days of gloomy skies really drag me down and I’m so happy that we get to see some sunshine today, even if it will be cooler.

I have two pretty cards for you today, filled with texture and cheery nature.

The first one was created by Becky Edson using the Simply Leaves Bundle. This bundle comes with a punch and a stamp set. I love the way Becky has made all the leaves look so different and they are all shaped with the same punch. The raised one is even punched from designer paper.

The Tree Ring Embossing Folder gives the card lots of texture and a woodsy feel. The Linen Thread behind the greeting continues the natural look while the three sequins add a pop of sparkle.

I absolutely love when swappers decorate the inside of their cards! It’s like getting two swaps in one!

The second card today was created by Dawn Michels. The gorgeous Velvet Meadow Designer Paper in the background is the first thing that caught my eye. The greeting on the flower created with the Scalloped Blooms Dies is pretty cool too. I really think this die set might be one of those ‘keepers’ that get used with multiple stamp sets!

Dawn’s card also is a double win, with a decorated inside. She has used the All A Flutter stamp set for the stamped images on the card.

Thanks for stopping by The Roost! I hope that these pretty cards inspire you.
