With the AWESOME sale on 9 of the Designer Series Papers the STARS are posting ideas of ways to use them! My card is showcasing one of the designs from the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper. I love the warm Cinnamon Cider/Cajun Craze bricks and decided to combine them with the doorway image from one of the upcoming Sale-a-bration stamps called Feels Like Home. Sale-a-bration starts August 3.

The pretty doorway scene has been colored with the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2. There are several ways to use the Watercolor Pencils, for this image the color was picked up from the tip of the pencil with the smallest Water Painter Brush and then painted onto the stamped image. The Water Painter Brushes come in a pack of three assorted sized brushes.

The card base is Thick Basic White 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and is then covered in a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ piece of the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Paper. The Multipurpose Liquid Glue works great for adhering a large piece like this. It allows a bit of wiggle to get everything lined up.
