Today’s card is colored using the Soft Pastels chalks and a Wink of Stella pen.

To paint with the Soft Pastels, use the edge of the spatula on the Take Your Pick Tool and scrap off some of the Soft Pastels onto a clear block. Just a small amount of powder goes a long way! Use the Wink of Stella Brush to pick up the powder and then paint it onto the image. The Wink of Stella will give the image sparkle and also keep the chalk from flaking off the card. Double win!

It’s hard to see the shimmer from the Wink of Stella but it really does add to the card. There are two 1 1/4″ squares of Basic Gray placed under the top left and bottom right corners, rather than adding a whole piece. No color was added to the background.
