For my final Bamboo Beauty card in this series, I decided to add some Gold Gilding. I love this stuff! It is a little messy but it’s so easy to use and adds such glimmer!
I do have to share a brain fart moment that I had though while creating this card. I stamped the VersaMark onto the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, heated it and wondered why it wasn’t sticky. Hmm… what did I do wrong? I even had to watch a video tutorial before I realized that though I had gotten out the Heat & Stick Powder, I hadn’t actually sprinkled it onto the VersaMark, lol. It worked much better when I actually applied the Heat & Stick Powder before using the Heat Tool.
The VersaMark ink was stamped directly onto the designer paper. I chose to use the back side of the Hues of Happiness DSP and cut the paper so that there would be a dark part on the bottom and lighter on the top.
The greeting is stamped with Night of Navy ink, then die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies and popped up with dimensionals. The inside was left blank on this card so I have room to write a nice longish note.
