Thanks for joining me!
Welcome to my new blog! I’m starting a new endeavor and must admit that I’m a bit lost. I hope that you have patience with me as I stumble through learning how to use this new platform.

Today is another fun STARS hop. I’m sharing a card that I made for a demonstrator swap that I recently participated in.

I used the large flower image from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set to create a background image on the card base. I used tone on tone Rococo Rose, one of the new In-Colors. Next I cut a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and ran it through the Lacy 3D Embossing Folder. To attach the 3/8″lace trim to the grape piece I cut a 5 1/2″ of the trim and used a bit of my hoarded roll of fast fuse to hold the edges in place while I used Tombo Multi Liquid Glue to hold the Gorgeous Grape layer onto the card base. I like using the liquid glue with embossed layers so that they hold more firmly.
The flowers are cut from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper using the Magnolia Memories Dies. The leaves were fussy cut from the scraps. The flowers are adhered using dimensionals as is the greeting piece which is cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. I used Smoky Slate ink to sponge the edges of the label.
To finish it off, I added some of the Epoxy Drops.
