It’s time for another Stars hop. Today we are focusing on floral stamp sets. I chose the Inspiring Iris and decided to use the small single flower. I hadn’t used this stamp before.

• I first colored the flower using stampin’ blends, then I thought, oh for goodness sake, these are 2 step stamps. So I decided that I would make a second card exactly the same but using the 2 step stamp for coloring.
• I added the swish under the words with a Stampin Blends marker and then used the black journaling pen to define it with a line on the top.

Which card do you like best? The 2 step colored version wins hands down for speed. I did notice that the Purple Posy Stampin Blends were a little different color than the Purple Posy ink pad.
