Have I told you how much I love the new Snow Globe Domes? More than chocolate!!! I have to admit that although I love shaker cards, they always seemed like a lot of extra work, but with the Snow Globe Domes, it’s down right easy to make a shaker card.
There is an adhesive strip around the dome on both the inside and the outside. Simply peel away the protective paper and adhere. To make the opening a quick run through a die cutter with the Snow Globe Die and it’s magical, a perfect fit for the dome! Love, love, love it!
Now on to the second reason that I am sharing a shaker card with you today, it’s the theme for the DoStamperSTARS inspiration hop. Guess who came up with the idea to do shaker cards? I’m so proud of myself.

So, I have pulled together quite a few different products for this card. “Bones” is from the September Paper Pumpkin Kit. The bats are fussy cut from the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper (another one of my favorite products right now). I’ve used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder for the basic black layer which is 4″ x 5 1/4″. The card base is Daffodil Delight, I haven’t used that color in quite a while. The scrolly layer of the snow globe base is one of the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and under it is a piece of Blackberry Bliss. The greeting is from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, punched out with a 1 3/4″ circle punch. I’ve even added a wisp of Black Organdy Ribbon which is unusual for me.
Of course, I can’t forget the star of the show, the Snow Globe Dies and the Snow Globe Domes. I did add a few orange sequins, I was originally planning to cut out more bats and leave them loose to shake around but I didn’t like the way they looked if they flipped over to the back sides so I decided to glue them down. I did pop up the wings of the 2 larger bats to make them look like they were flying around.

Most of the supplies to create this card can be purchased on my store https://robynsroost.stampinup.net/
