These awesome cards are ones that I received in a card swap with some of the Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the DOstamperSTARs group. The Music From the Heart stamp set was created by Stampin’ Up! with inspiration from our STARs leader Dawn Olchefske, so we were all especially excited to play with this stamp set.
Anna used a fun fold base for her Music From the Heart creation with a greeting banner adhered to one side of the card.
Cat used the Triple Stamping Technique for her Music From The Heart card. Using only 3 colors it has a very clean and simple look.
Cathy has used either block stamping or a watercolor wash for the color behind the piano. I also love the way she has offset the 2 layers of matting behind the top layer and the ribbon bow, and sequins add some texture and shine. I think the label is cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the edges are sponged. Simply gorgeous!
Dawn’s card is typical of her work, very classy. The music sheet is from the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper, as is the strip below it. The baker’s twine adds a interest located where the 2 papers meet.
