Hallows Night Magic Embossing on Vellum

These 3 cards that I am sharing today all use the same basic layout and supplies with just a few variation for each card.

Clear Embossing Powder with Tuxedo Black ink used on bats and Cajun Craze on the Greeting.

This card has a frame on top of the vellum layer created by nesting 2 of the Stitched Rectangle Dies on a piece of Basic Black cardstock.

To get embossed colors to match the cardstock colors, I stamped the bats with Tuxedo Black and the greeting with Cajun Craze ink and them sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder. The trick is to work quickly between stamping the ink and sprinkling the Embossing Powder because the ink dries much more quickly than VersaMark.

This card also has a whisper white frame on top of the vellum layer.

Vellum is embossed with VersaMark ink with White embossing powder

For this card I cut the vellum paper 1/4″ smaller than the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper and let the designer series paper act as a frame. I really like the foggy mysterious look of the vellum over the Magic in This Night Patterned paper.
