The Beauty Abounds stamp set has been on my wish list ever since it came out and I was lucky enough to win it in a contest put on by my upline, Dawn Olchefske. Thank you, Dawn!
The reason that I held off purchasing this set is that I had “thing” for butterflies. At one time, I couldn’t walk past a butterfly stamp without buying it! Needless to say, I have a lot of stamps with butterflies, so I was trying to hold back. After I recovered from my butterfly addiction, I had a thing for snowmen, now it’s dog and cat stamps.
My favorite stamp in this set is the background stamp with the multiple circles, so I started designing my card with that stamp. Not a butterfly in sight!
I was using my new 2020-2022 In Color inks, Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee which were very juicy. The bubbles stamp is a distinktive style stamp and is best used with a dryer ink pad to retain the delicate photo quality of the image. Less ink is definitely better with the distinktive stamps.
Tune in tomorrow for a stepped up version of this same card.
