Gift Wrapped Cards

When I first spotted the Gift Wrapped stamp set in the Mini Catalog, I was intrigued by it but not quite sure if I needed it or not. It can be purchased as a bundle with a really cute bow punch.

I had my Bonus Codes to use so I decided to get the set. I want to share with you my first experiment with the bundle.

Clean and Simple Gift Wrapped

I decided to create 3 cards that are basically the same. The first card is done in a clean and simple style. The only additional layers are strips of silver foil to create a “ribbon” and the bow. Everything is adhered flat, no dimensionals. The greeting is stamped directly onto the card front. This would be a great card to reproduce multiples of for Christmas.

Gift Wrapped Stepped Up

For the next version, I’ve stepped the card up a bit. I added a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper and a tag cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Again, everything is adhered directly with no pop up dimensionals which makes mailing easier.

Gift Wrapped Avid Stamper Card

For my third version, I’ve added some Cinnamon Cider ribbon instead of the paper strips. The greeting is stamped and cut out with the Layering Circle Dies and another larger circle is cut and layered under that. The bow is popped up with dimensionals. An additional layer is add under the Wrapped in Plaid DSP and the Designer Series Paper is cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″.

There are 2 additional bow images in the set that I haven’t even inked up yet. This set would also make really cute gift tags and only the Merry Christmas greeting is Christmas specific, the other greetings could be used for any occasion. This is a great year round versatile set.
