This design is CASE’d (Copy And Share Everything) right from the Stampin’ Up! catalog. I love the way these house die cuts can be stacked to extend the ways to use them. They look great by themselves too. This card combines several techniques. The snowy designer paper (cut to 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″) is sponged with Moonlight Mist ink to create a night time look and highlight the house.
The houses and trees are colored with Stampin’ Blends. I used the dark color around the outside edges and filled in with the light color. Stampin’ Blends come in Combo Packs of a light and dark. Adhere the house layers with dimensionals for more depth or layer flat for easier mailing.
The snow drifts are 3 layers of whisper white paper cut with the cool swoosh die in the Home Together Die set. I started with a 4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of paper and made 2 cuts to get my 3 pieces. If you want an easier way to create the snow banks, use 3 pieces of whisper white and just layer them.
The Merry Christmas greeting is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. I love this greeting, it’s nice and big and the font is beautiful.

Switch up the snow banks and change the house colors for a more personal look. Watch the card come together on my Video Tutorial here.

As you can see, the card in the catalog is in portrait orientation. I switched my version to landscape so that I could have some fun on the inside. Stay tuned for the inside of this card.
