I love that this beautiful handwritten look greeting from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set fits perfectly inside of the die cut label from the Fluttering Dies. The pretty butterflies from the Floating and Fluttering stamp set are colored with Petal Pink and the details are stamped with Magenta Madness. The leaves, label outline and greeting are all stamped with Just Jade ink.

The floral paper is from the Flower and Field Sale-a-bration paper pack and is cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″. If you purchase the Floating and Fluttering Bundle Plus the Just Jade ink pad you can choose to get the Flower and Field paper for FREE. Just sayin’. The ribbon is the Fine Art Ribbon which is shot thru with gold thread, so that it has a very subtle shimmer.

In this image you can see the Petal Pink stamping behind the greeting on the label. The background stamp is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set and I just randomly stamped all over the label. I stamped 2 or 3 times before re-inking the stamp to vary the depth of the color. The label seemed a bit too white before I added the background stamping.
The little embellishments are the Metallic Pearls. They come in a pack with half gold and half silver. I adhered these butterflies directly to the card front, but use dimensionals if you want more depth or to step it up just a notch, stamp another set of butterflies and cut one out, then pop up just one of the butterflies.
I hope you enjoy this card. In this time of political unrest, I think that we need to be kind to each other even if we don’t understand each other or share the same views.
I leave you with this quote by Albert Schweitzer a doctor and missionary who lived in the late 1800’s through the mid 1900’s.
“Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust and hostility to evaporate.”
If you would like to purchase the supplies to make this card, here are links to the items. I have listed both the mini ink spots and the full sized ones so if you click on the buy it all button, be sure to choose which ink pads you prefer and delete the others.
