Imaging that each seed blowing from a dandelion flower is a wish. That’s a lot of wishes! What would you wish for? Would you have a whole list? Would your wishes be for material things or would your wishes be more spiritual or nonmaterialistic? I have been writing in a journaling book by Michelle Obama called Becoming and a page that I was working on recently asked me to list 10 things that I wished for and how I was going to get each item. I’m not sure if it was the day or just that I’m old, but I couldn’t come up with 10 things that I really wanted.

I started this card by die cutting the oval out of the front of a Thick White card base. I stamped the dandelion on a piece of Mint Macaron cut to 4 ” x 5 1/4″. If you are worried about getting the image in the exact center of the oval, place the mint paper behind the oval and mark the edges with a pencil, then remove it and stamp the image. I just ball parked it, so the dandelion isn’t in the exact center.. After stamping the greeting on the bottom, I felt that the card needed a bit more. I free handed the black line around the oval with the pen end of a Black Stampin’ Write Marker. It still need something and my adult son walked into my crafting roost (room) and he noticed the little seed stamp and mentioned having the seeds blowing off the card. I thought it really fit with the greeting.
I hope this card gives you some inspiration to breath a little kindness into someone’s day.
Have a good one,
Robyn
