I love the beautiful line images in this stamp set and the heartfelt greetings. This set is a must have when creating a card for an excited grandma to be. I created this card for a swap that I did so I had to make several and wanted the card to be easy to create multiples.
This pretty floral die cut on the edge is from the Ornate Borders Die set. I started out by layering it directly on the card base,
But decided that adding a piece of the Love You Always Foil would step it up a bit. On my first card, I didn’t trim the foil but left it straight, which looked okay, but by trimming the foil to match the flowers, it stepped it up just a little bit more.
This close up shows the coloring. I use the Water Color Pencils Set 1 to color the image. It didn’t take very long to get all of the coloring done.
I added a narrow strip of the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper along the inside edge. I really love the hands with the heart stamp so had to incorporate into the card somehow, so I decided to stamp it above the inside greeting. I didn’t do any coloring on the inside but I have made some cards with this stamp and just colored the heart and it looks awesome.
