Hello crafters. This card was super quick and easy to create. The Oh So Ombre paper comes in a 6″ x 6″ size and I’ve cut it down to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and adhered it to a Bermuda Bay card base. I’m afraid I don’t know the exact size of the Basic White and Bermuda Bay strips. I am on the road and left the card at home and I’m working from the photo and my memory (I’m in trouble when I rely on my memory!).
We packed up our camper and headed south from our Minnesota home this morning. We started out with a bit of a wild Google Chase! We were going either south or east so I wasn’t too worried, after all this is meant to be a fun adventure. But google sent us on a bunch of backroads I’ve never seen before. I finally realized that the “no highways” button was chosen on the Google Maps app. We are staying in a hotel tonight, still snow on the ground and a bit cold for the camper.
Back to this fun card, both the stamp set, Approaching Perfection, and the Oh So Ombre paper are Sale-a-bration items. If you aren’t familiar with Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration event, it is an awesome annual event that Stampin’ Up! holds. There is a special Sale-a-bration catalog which showcases the items that you can get for free with qualifying orders. There are two levels, items that can be earned with a $50 purchase and those that are earned with a $100 purchase. Both the Approaching Perfection set and the Oh So Ombre paper pack are $50 level items.
The greeting label is cut with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies but if you don’t have them or a Cut and Emboss Machine, the greeting could be stamped on a simple square of Basic White paper.
Hopefully, I will be able to keep blogging while we are on vacation. It might be a bit hit and miss but I’ve packed up my craft room and hauled it along. That’s one nice thing about a 5th wheel camper, there’s lots of room for stamps. My son asked me if I had packed the kitchen sink, and I jokingly said, yes, because well, the camper does have a kitchen sink.
