This is the second card that I made with the ‘girls’ that I created when I first opened my Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick stamp sets.

The chicks are colored with Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends in both light and dark and the wings are outlined with Highland Heather. The feet are done with Pumpkin Pie and the beak is Daffodil Delight. The comb is Light Real Red.

I’ve used my second chicken on the inside, she is colored with the same colors, and added a greeting with Cajun Craze ink. The Basic White card stock is 4″ x 5 1/4″ on the inside.

The card base is Cajun Craze and I’ve used the In Color Designer Series paper for the 2 layers. The Bumblebee layer is 4 1/4″ x 3″ (so I could get 2 pieces) and the Misty Moonlight layer is 1″ x 4 1/4″. I love the Happy Birthday die from the Birthday Chick Dies! It’s perfect! I know I will be using this die lots. I cut this one out of white paper. The balloon is popped up with a dimensional but the rest of the chicken is adhered flat to the card.
