The Kangaroo & Company stamp set just shouts, ‘baby card’! I whipped up this very simple baby card on a top fold Coastal Cabana card base. Cut the card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″ and then score at 5 1/2″.

The Kangaroos are colored with Stampin’ Blends. I first ran an outline around the edge with Dark Soft Suede then filled them in with Light Soft Suede. The mama’s chest is colored with Crumb Cake and the nose is done with Black. The Joey is slipped into the slot on the Mama’s pouch and then they are popped up with dimensionals. I love that the set has matching dies so that I didn’t have to fussy cut.

The greeting strip is a 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Calypso Coral and the hello baby greeting is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink. The Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper behind the Kangaroos was cut using the Wild Rose Dies. I really like the Playing with Patterns DSP for fun backgrounds. It’s a 6″ x 6″ stack and has such bright colors and a mix of patterns with dots and stripes.
