This card combines two stamp sets that contain Poppies in different life stages, so I decided to combine the image of the open flowers from the Painted Poppies with the dried seed pods from the Enjoy the Moment stamp set.

I wish that I had stamped off before stamping the splotch over the greeting, it got a bit too dark. The splotch stamp from the Painted Poppies is great for adding a bit of quick color. It gives a water colored soft edged look. The Paste Pearl embellishments look like they have a dot in the center in the photos but it must have been from the lighting because they don’t have a center dot.

I hope that this card inspires you to look for new ways to combine your stamp sets.
