Sweet Strawberry Just For You

The Sweet Strawberry stamp set coordinates with the Strawberry Builder Punch to create some luscious strawberries. The little flowers are also one of the elements that are on the punch.

I’ve stamped the strawberries on Poppy Parade card stock with Tuxedo Black ink for the outline stamp and Real Red for the fill stamp. The stems are done on Old Olive Card stock with Tuxedo Black outlines and Old Olive ink for the fill in stamp. I’ve popped up the front two strawberries and left the back one flat. The card base is Real Red 8 1/2′ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

The little blossoms are stamped with Real Red outlines on Petal Pink card stock. I don’t remember if the fill in stamp was done with Petal Pink ink or Blushing Bride. I adhered all of the blossoms flat and added Matte Black and Champagne Rhinestones to the centers. I couldn’t decide which I liked better so I used both.

The leaves in the background are inked with Old Olive and the flowers with Real Red. I used a stamping spot to ink up the mixed colors. The punched flowers were an after thought, and covered up most of the inked flowers, lol. If you want to see a video with this technique check out Simple Stamping Tips & Tricks The greeting is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and layered onto two circles cut with the Layering Circles Dies. I added a piece of Fine Art Ribbon that was simply folded back and forth behind it. The greeting is attached with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card a 3 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White layer was added. The greeting was stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and a strawberry was added. For the this strawberry I used just the fill in stamps without the outlines.

I hope that you enjoyed this card. Creating it made me think about picking fresh, juicy strawberries right out of my garden.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
