The Love You Always Treat Box is a matchbox style box which is 4 1/4 x 2 3/4″ x 1 5/8″, the perfect size for some candies or jewelry.

To decorate this box, I started with a 4″ x 12″ piece of the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper, wrapped it around the box pinching the corners and then marked where it overlapped on the back to cut off the excess. After cutting to length, I used Liquid glue to adhere the Hydrangea Hill paper to the box.

Because I don’t have the Hydrangea stamp set and dies, I fussy cut the flowers from the paper. I actually used two of the flowers from the edge of the paper (incomplete flowers) and glued them flat to the box with the bad sides meeting in the center and then layered the ‘good’ flower (compete image) over them popped up with a dimensional.

The butterfly was one that I didn’t use on my card from a day or two ago and he sort of just flew onto the project. The shinny affect is achieved by coating the colored butterfly with Wink of Stella.

As a final touch, I added a double bow of Braided Linen Thread which is adhered with two glue dots. My friend and fellow demonstrator Susan Burch showed me how to create the double bow but I’m not good enough at it yet to teach others, lol. Once I get it down I’ll do a video!
