Celebration of Tags Wedding Card

Here we have the same layout as the card that I posted yesterday. It starts with a standard card base (White) of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The 4″ x 5 1/4″ card stock matte layer is Petal Pink for this card and the 3 3/4″ x 5″ designer paper is from the P

The pretty label is a done with multi-step stamping. The outline is one stamp. The words and rose outlines are a second stamp. The green color for the leaves is a third stamp and the pink color to fill in the roses is a forth stamp. With the clear photopolymer stamps it’s a breeze to line everything up.

The Petal Pink strip is cut 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ and is adhered first. Next, the Vanilla Lace strip is adhered with Liquid Glue, right along the bottom edge of the Petal Pink strip. The Braided Linen Trim is adhered where the lace ribbon and paper strip meet, again using a small amount of liquid glue. The ends of the ribbons are adhered to the back of the card stock with tape runner adhesive.

The greeting label is popped up with dimensionals and three Pastel Pearls are added on top of the pink strip.

For the inside of the card, I reached for the pretty congratulations stamp from the Celebration of Tags stamp set and then added some Petal Pink confettii.

Check back tomorrow for a Baby card using the Celebration of Tags stamp set and this same layout. If you like this series of cards, be sure to get the Celebration of Tags stamp set ordered soon. It and the coordinating Trio of Tags Die are retiring when the new catalog debuts on May 4. Be sure to check pricing closely when purchasing the retiring items. It is often cheaper to purchase bundled items separately, if either of the items is on sale.
