A fun way to create shadow and give the illusion of movement is to do the Shadow Stamping Technique like on the little butterflies on the above card. To achieve this look first stamp the images with a light ink, Coastal Cabana was used here, and then almost but not quite line up the image and stamp over it with a darker ink, Tuxedo Black was used on these.

All of the images and greetings on this card are from the Kangaroo & Company stamps. There is a matching Kangaroo Die set, which makes it quick and easy to cut out the images. The flowers are colored with Stampin’ blends.

The Kangaroo is sitting on a strip of Crumb Cake which is covered with a border die cut from the retired Wild Rose Dies. I borrowed the Wild Rose Dies from my fellow Hollywood Stamping Chick, Sandy and cut a bunch to use here and there.
