Simply Elegant

The name of this Suite of products says it all! If you are looking for a solution for making elegant wedding or anniversary cards, this is it! Need to create a bunch of high end thank notes, done! I’ve CASE’D this card layout from a swap card that I received from Lee Ann Furnas.

This card uses a greeting from a different stamp set because, alas, I don’t have the Elegantly Said stamp set yet, but I do have the GORGEOUS Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Paper.

I’ve started with a card base of Thick Very Vanilla, one of the base colors in the Simply Elegant paper, and then layered on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic Gray which is stamped with some floral images with Basic Gray ink.

Simply cut out three circles of the Simply Elegant paper using either punches or the Layering Circle Dies and arrange on the Basic Gray layer. I’ve cut the greeting layers with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. One in Gold Foil and the other in Very Vanilla and stamped the greeting with the Basic Gray ink.

I hope that you have a wonderful Sunday! I’m off 4 wheeling with my husband and son. We have a side by side and I love riding shot gun! I just sit back and enjoy the ride and the scenery. I did contemplate using one of my son’s 4 wheelers and actually driving, but darn that sounded like too much work.

Here is the short list of supplies that I used on this card. I’ve also included the link for the entire Simply Elegant Suite which also includes the very Elegant Tag Punch and some gold and silver trim. Happy Stamping!
