Stamping with the STARS Challenge #364

If you saw the STARS 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog Online Event yesterday, this card will look very familiar to you. This is the card that I created during the Mystery Card stamping portion of the event. If you missed the event, you can still see all of the card displays and the videos HERE.

For the Mystery Card Event we didn’t get to see a sketch of the card, like the one below, but it looks like my card came pretty close.

This card starts with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Cinnamon Cider scored at 4 1/4″. The You’re a Peach Designer Paper is 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ and is backed by a piece of Pale Papaya card stock which is 3″ x 5 1/2″.

The 2 1/2″ Basic White center square has 3 layers of stamping plus the edges have been colored with Cinnamon Cider ink using a Blending Brush. The first layer of stamping is the script stamp from the Very Versailles set.It is inked with Pale Papaya ink and is stamped off once before stamping on the paper. The next layer is the leaves inked with Soft Sea Foam ink, without stamping off. The greeting is inked with Cinnamon Cider.

The Pale Papaya ribbon is adhered with the Stampin’ Seal +, and is just wrapped around the paper. There are 5 Champagne Rhinestones scattered onto the card.

The inside of the card has some Soft Sea Foam leaves and a border plus a greeting in Cinnamon Cider.

I hope that something from the card inspires you to get creative today! Have a wonderful day.
