I’ve just gotten my first batch of holiday stamps from the upcoming JD Mini Catalog and the first set that I just had to play with is the Sweet Little Stocking stamp set and matching Stockings Dies. I’ve stamped the pup, hat and stocking on Basic White card stock and then colored them with Stampin’ Blends. I really enjoy coloring, BUT, if you don’t like coloring, die cut everything from colored paper instead. The card below uses Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper for the stocking, Real Red for the hat and stocking top, Crumb Cake for the pup, and Old Olive for the leaves.

The card base is Old Olive 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The Basic White greeting is 3 3/4″ x 1″ and the In Good Taste Designer Paper is 3 3/4″ x 4″. The ‘nail’ is one of the new Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.
