Christmas to Remember

This card is not for the faint of heart! Lots of die cut layers and two die sets, but wow, it is gorgeous, if I do say so myself. This card is for those of you who are AVID paper crafters.

The beautiful pine bough has 4 die cut layers starting with a Sahara Sand shadow, Soft Succulent needles, Crumb Cake pine cone and ending with a Soft Suede outline on the pine cones. All are cut using the Christmas Pine Cone Dies.

The greeting is stamped on a Very Vanilla die cut from the Painted Labels Die set. All of the die cuts are layered onto a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. (THIS PAPER IS AWESOME!)

The card base is a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock scored at 4 1/4″. The Evening Evergreen color is PERFECT for piney Christmas cards!

On the bright side, time wise, both of the Christmas Pine Cone Dies for the pine boughs are large enough to get 3 sprigs from each die cut, so 3 cards per cut.

A single Champagne Rhinestone was added to the greeting. I found that the Multipurpose Liquid glue worked well to adhere all of the die cut pieces. But, use a VERY light hand. Placing small dots of glue on the thicker areas of the pine needles worked well.
