The sheeps faces, hooves and ears were colored using the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 1 and then a Blender Pen was used to move the color a bit. To make the embossed lines on the die cut fence more pronounced, rub an Early Espresso ink pad over the die before cutting. For a fun twist on the greeting, stamp it twice. Once on the Petal Pink and once on the Calypso Coral, then cut the lines apart and use one of each. Now you need to use the other two greetings for a second card, right? The bottom sheep is popped up using 2 dimensionals.
This is one of the cards that we made for the Creative Cards Class at The Roost. Some of the ladies decided to color their sheep faces with pink and blue pencils. These would make AWESOME baby cards!
The next Event at The Roost is the Kit Club Gathering on August 25 at 6:30 pm. The gathering is free. Purchase your kit online or subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and bring your Paper Pumpkin kit to work on. It’s a great place to enjoy socializing while picking up on the creative vibe of others. It’s a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) event.
